July update

It's hard to believe that I am 3 weeks into official marathon training. Did I mention that I recently signed up for a sprint triathlon? It has made training a bit crazy and even more overwhelming since I am now training for 3 sports instead of just one. But those are just details, right?!?!?

I had plans to complete in Hal Higdon intermediate plan, however, I immediately struggled with the two back to back long runs on Saturdays. My body was like, "Uhh, whatcha doing there??" I decided it was in my best interest to back off and do the novice plan with a couple modifications. Basically it has me running 4 days a week instead of 5. I love running, but 5 days a week makes it not fun anymore!! I modified it by keeping the midweek runs the same length as the intermediate plan. 

My fundraising is struggling and I am hoping to get a handle on it before I lose my marathon spot! I am $400.00 short (yikes) and need help!
